I decided to restore this truck from the ground up, meaning I'm starting with the wheels.
Left: the rear wheels are the 1925-1927 20" version instead of the 23" ones used 1919-1924. That's OK, they'll do. Above: Rear wheels should each have six clamps, but these have only two, and they're the wrong ones. I don't know what these clamps are, but they're not for a TT. |

This tire is old enough to have the size designation that was used originally. No tires have been made with these numbers for decades. |
This is the more modern version of the same tire. The 6.00 - 20 size is equivalent to the original 32 x 2. I don't see why tires made for antique vehicles don't have the antique numbers on them. |
Disassembly is under way, with the cab and headlights removed. |
